In “On Your Own Ground”, a connection is being made with the land we call our own and the pride and commitment we feel to those places. Many of the images suggest a lingering echo of those who have come before us and our need to recognize and remember the stories and history of these spaces. Empty fields, abandoned farm homes and lonely forests strive to connect viewers back to a simpler way of life when many depended solely on their land to survive.
